Forrest's Peter Pan Party

We had so much fun at Forrest's Peter Pan Party! Wilson and I introduced the boys to an old VHS of Peter Pan earlier this year, a couple of weeks before we went to Disney, and they were fast fans! On our trip to Disney World the Peter Pan ride was a favorite, and Forrest was always quick to spot Peter Pan and Captain Hook in the parades or on stage in the shows at Cinderella's Castle. Since being home, we have dressed up like Peter Pan & Hook, played pirates, and treasure hunted almost daily. So it came as no surprise to us when he wanted to have a Peter Pan birthday party.

He asked May May if we could have it at her house, and she graciously agreed. May May and I went to work planning, and we had so much fun with all the details of the party. There were really so many fun things to tie in from the movie to the party. We had a bounce house (Lost Boys Hideout), sword-making, walk the plank and tatoos (Pirate's Rock), a dig for buried treasure, Wilson made a teepee (Indian Camp), a crocodile ring toss, the snack table was the Mermaid Lagoon, and we finished up the party with a treasure hunt! A big thanks to our sweet friends and family who joined us to celebrate!
