Amelia Island

We wanted to share some of our pictures from our amazing trip to Amelia Island this summer. The Island is just off the coast of Jacksonville, FL and we highly recommend it. It was amazing! And a great time for us before the baby comes.

Wow! What a swing! We enjoyed a day of golf on the island. We even saw an alligator and other wildlife while on the course.

Laura did a great job as my caddy.

Here we are enjoying one of the really good restaurants in historic downtown Ferdinandina Beach.

We went canoeing one day on the Nassau sound. It was amazing to see all the wild life and to ride the tide up and down the creeks. Laura did an awesome job for a pregnant mommy.

I thought I was a good paddler, but I was tired after this trip! Laura said I was a sweet husband to pull a little extra weight on our canoe trip.

Here we are on the front porch of The Addison on Amelia - the bed and breakfast where we stayed. It proved to be a perfect spot to relax and have fun. They served an awesome breakfast on the porch each morning, too.

This was Nautilus Beach - a cool beach that you could drive onto and hang out by the water - it was beautiful.
